A good alternative to enjoy the unique woods around us is walking up to the mountain shelters of Nahuel Huapi National Park in permanent and direct contact with nature.  To practice trekking you will need good hiking shoes, be willing to walk, enough food to refuel, and bottle water to refresh.

It is very important to follow the National Park procedures, try to be always guided by a licensed mountain guide.  It is advisable to start this trails in groups, and not on your own, to ensure fun and safety during the trip.

You can follow trails from 3 to 6 hours.  All of them are properly indicated. The native woods are a shelter to urban noise and they will help you discover birds singing, running river water, creeks and cascades. You will enjoy pure and clear mountain air.

Kayak tours are available starting at the shores of Gutierrez Lake, Limay River or Mascardi Lake. Full or half day trips depending on your stamina. We also offer kayak safaris camping at least one night below the stars. Beginners, intermediate and competition level.

We also have an option for those who want to learn the technique of River kayaking; a two day kayak clinic.

A Canopy Adventure is basically a trip through the tops of the trees – it’s a series of Tyrolean traverses, hanging bridges and rappels that connects the tallest parts of the forest and gives you a bird’s-eye view of nature. You can practice this technique close to Mount Lopez.

Quad bikes is one of the preferred day trips. This exciting vehicules can be rented at the hotel to take a tour around Cerro Catedral.

You will discover neighbouring woods, following Casa de Piedra creek, and after two and a half hours of enjoying this incredible views, your trip ends at the shores of Moreno Lake
